YMCA Safe Place Services

Awareness Campaign

The YMCA Safe Place Services program provides shelter and support for at risk youth and families.

When the schools closed down during the pandemic, Safe Place needed another way to connect with teens and their families.

We created an outdoor and social media outreach campaign designed to reach kids on the street and let them know that they have a place to go, as well as a flyer that was sent home with children via the Jefferson County Public Schools / Blessings in a Backpack meal program.

Bus shelter ads were placed strategically in Southern and Western Jefferson County, as well as on Downtown bus routes, to specifically target potential clients. An SEM campaign was initiated with both geographic and age targeting to narrow our focus, and the social media campaign targeted specific age groups.

This integrated campaign used bus shelter advertising, social media, and a SEM campaign that was geographically and age targeted to narrow our focus.

If there’s anyone who can honestly say, “Been there, done that,” it’s Rob. After traveling the world for seven years in his 20’s, Rob went to LA and started working in film production. Then it was off to New York, where he learned how to program, which eventually brought him back home to Louisville to build websites. At Current360, Rob heads up our in-house production studio, creating all things digital for our clients — videos, commercials, radio spots, and a lot more.

When he’s at home, Rob likes to create things like homemade kombucha and music.
